Phillip’s Canyon Loop Ride | Mountain Bike the Tetons

Phillip's Canyon Loop Ride

A fast fun technical downhill.

This ride is accessed via the Old Pass Road cycling path, the Arrow trail which starts on Phillip’s Canyon Trail Road which is a dirt two track road located halfway up Teton Pass from Wilson Directions to trailhead from Wilson, WY or from the Phillip’s Canyon trail by starting on Fish Creek Road Directions to trailhead from Wilson, WY.

Start your ride by parking at the Stagecoach bar in Wilson, WY, at the base of Teton Pass’ east side. From here, peddle up the Old Pass Rd bike path to the Phillip’s Connector Trail (3.7 mi), crossing the highway to the forest road and rounding the first corner to access the Arrow Trail (4.6 mi). You could also hitch or shuttle from the Stagecoach up to the Jimmy’s Mom/Phillip’s Canyon trailhead. Either way, once you’ve reached Arrow trail, follow that to the end and the junction with the Phillip’s Canyon trail (9.4 mi) where you’ll take a right and begin your descent. Stay on Phillip’s Canyon until you reach Fish Creek Rd (13 mi), where you’ll take a right. Stay on Fish Creek Rd until the end, taking a right on Main St, then a left on West St brings you back to Hwy 22 where you’ll find the Stagecoach on your right.
