Josie’s Ridge | Mountain Bike the Tetons

Josies's is, in places, a VERY steep, loose switchbacking trail with numerous stairs but offers incredible views of Jackson Hole from the top of Snow King Mountain.

Access

This trail can be accessed on one end from the junction of Ferrins and Wilson Canyon via the Cache Creek Trailhead [Directions from town square Jackson, WY] or on the other end from the Josie’s Ridge/KC trailheads near the Flat Creek bridge on the paved bike path behind the new Post Office [Directions from town square Jackson, WY].

Options

This trail is best ridden east to west (in the direction from Ferrins to the Flat Creek Bridge on the bike path) as going up from the bike path is pretty steep and a large part of that section is stepped. This trail can be ridden as part of a loop starting w/Ferrins to Josie’s Ridge returning to the Cache Creek trailhead through town along Snow King Ave or by taking KC(/Linda’s/) to Sink or Swim/Hagen Highway; taking a right on to Sink or Swim before reaching the very bottom will bypass the town streets and or KC trail.
