Ditch Creek - Mountain Bike the Tetons

A remote ride, offering a stunning view of the Tetons. It typically takes some time into the summer to dry out. Well worth the adventure for the DH out Horsetail Creek. Bear spray is a good idea here.

Access

This trail can be accessed by parking at the Teton Science School [Directions from Kelly, WY] and pedaling up Ditch Creek Road.

Options

This trail can be ridden as an out and back; as a loop by starting at the Teton Science School, pedaling up Ditch Creek Road, continuing onto the Ditch Creek/South Ridge Trail, turning right (west) at the junction with Horsetail Creek East Fork(T intersection), turning right (west) onto the Gros Ventre Road, turning right (north) onto the Lower Gros Ventre Road, and right (east) onto Ditch Creek Road to return to the Teton Science School [Directions from trailhead to trailhead]; as a different loop by starting at the Teton Science School, pedaling up Ditch Creek Road, continuing onto the Ditch Creek/South Ridge Trail, turning left (east) at the junction with Horsetail Creek East Fork(T intersection) which merges back into Ditch Creek proper near the bottom. The 11 mile road ride can be shuttled by leaving a vehicle at the Horsetail Creek trailhead [Directions to trailhead from Kelly, WY];this loop could potentially be ridden in reverse but would be very difficult.
