Black Canyon | Mountain Bike the Tetons

An old school mountain bike trail that starts off steep with switchbacks and ends with plenty of flow on the lower sections. A long-time local favorite XC trail, offers grew views at the top and a few fun stream crossings at the bottom.

Access

This trail can be accessed via the Teton Pass trailhead near the west side of the parking lot at the summit of Highway 22 [Directions to trailhead from Wilson, WY] or from the Trail Creek trailhead at the bottom of the Old Pass Road [Directions to trailhead from Wilson, WY].

Options

This trail can be ridden as a downhill shuttle by starting from the Teton Pass trailhead and pedaling south on the Pass Ridge trail; as a loop by starting at the Trail Creek trailhead and riding up the Old Pass Road and Pass Ridge trail; as an out and back by starting at the Trail Creek trailhead and pedaling up the singletrack.
