Poets, pirates, lovers, hold witness to the most excellent adventure that is the Carriboo Jack. A one day enduro race through the mountain wild of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

A most excellent
adventure
A celebration of raw, backcountry singletrack. The Carriboo Jack is everything we love about riding bikes.
This event is about bringing mountain bikers together, getting more people involved in trail advocacy, and showing off the hard work that has been put into rehabilitating the area’s trails.
Much like the character who inspired the event, the Carriboo Jack is rugged and bound to leave you with a good story. The event is a reflection of the surrounding environment, a celebration of mountain biking in the Tetons.
“I was born in a blizzard snowdrift in the worst damn storm to ever hit North America. I was bathed in a gold pan, suckled by a caribou, wrapped in a buffalo rug, and could whip any grizzly going before I was thirteen.”
— Jesse “Carriboo Jack” Fairchilds

Join us for a 1 day, 4 stage, blind-format, backcountry enduro race that will leave you with a good story.
We've always aimed for this event to embody the spirit of a big, excellent 'group ride.' This year, we're organizing it exactly like that - as one cohesive group journeying through the backcountry. Racers, medical staff, timers, and operations will all be on the course together. We believe this approach will help minimize risks, facilitate quick operational decisions if necessary, and enhance the overall experience.
This year, we kindly request that racers stay at the venue on Friday night to facilitate early morning departures on Saturday. Shuttles will be provided to transport racers to and from the trailhead from this year’s race venue. Expect a full, action packed day on your bike: 50 riders, ~20miles, ~6,000’ vertical, 1 most excellent adventure. Before registering, please ensure you're comfortable riding in advanced terrain and ready for a day in the saddle lasting at least 6 hours. 🤘
